LUCIA VAN RYZIN, BORN IN 2001.

Born and raised in lower Manhattan, Lucía started bookbinding in 2019 and continues to experiment with the notion of book as an object of art. Former education intern at the New York Center for Book Arts, she is currently working to earn her license to teach middle and high school English in the state of New York at New York University, set to graduate in the fall of 2025. She was also a birthday clown.
